Physical education department of D.S.B. campus works under DSW since 1975. It plays a vital role for all the students and gives a big platform to enhance their quality through physical activity. There are twenty nine games organized by different colleges every year with the help of Kumaun university sports board, Interested students participate in intercollegiate tournament, the player who performs best then they are selected for interuniversity tournament. The Department of Physical Education has started three years academic course B.P.E.S (Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports Sciences) undergraduate course in Physical Education after 12th in self finance mode under the faculty of Arts from the session 2019-20. This course is equivalent to Graduation. There are 22 students enrolled in course Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports Sciences third semester and 33 in first semester.
