Teacher teaches students by innovative methods of teaching. Courses Offered:
Integrated Teacher Education programme is an initiative in the field of teacher education introduced by National Council for Teacher Education. The ITEP is being offered in pilot mode initially in reputed Central/State Government Universities/Institutions and Kumaun University Nainital is one of them.
All students who voluntarily decide to pursue a career in teaching after completing their secondary education can enroll in the Integrated Teacher Education Programme.This integrated course will benefit students since they will save one year by finishing the course in 4 years rather than the customary 5 years required by the present B.Ed. plan. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) to ascertain eligibility for the same.
