About Head of the Department: Prof. Tapan Kumar Nailwal is a highly accomplished researcher and academician specializing in Plant Biotechnology and Nanobiotechnology. With a M.Sc. & Ph.D. from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar, he has received prestigious awards and has guided 9 students to their Ph.D. degrees and is currently supervising three others. His expertise is demonstrated through his impressive publication record of over 80 research papers, book chapters, and short communications in reputed journals and books. He has also delivered numerous invited lectures at national and international conferences, showcasing his knowledge and proficiency. He actively participates in research projects and has successfully completed/ongoing nine projects since 2005, emphasizing his dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering collaboration.
